My name is Sara monte
Monte Reserve Specialty Foods is the result of my lifelong journey with food, service, and craftsmanship. I enlisted at seventeen years old as a Food Service Specialist, serving in the U.S. Army during the Gulf War era. I later spent more than 20 years working in regulatory affairs with the USDA’s Food Safety and Inspection Service. During my time with the USDA, I earned my Pastry Arts certificates from Le Cordon Bleu in Paris and Ottawa. These experiences deepened my respect for quality, integrity, and purpose in everything I create. For the past seven years, I’ve focused on developing gluten-free, plant-based baked goods that don’t compromise on taste or texture—because everyone deserves to enjoy something truly special.
